Features of the Great Northern include a luxurious steam shower and an interior stained glass panel by local artist Craig Waldron, depicting Great Northern's Empire Builder passenger train roaring across the Montana prairie.

Directly adjacent to the B&B is the recording studio of Grammy nominated pianist and composer Philip Aaberg. Masterclasses on keyboards, improvisation, composition, and technique available by special reservation.

Advance reservations are strongly recommended, but walk-ins are welcome during operating hours of 7am—11pm.
